Solution Focused thinking is transforming schools in the UK and Europe, making an impact in the classroom, in the corridors, in the staffroom and in the way that people interact with each other in all aspects of school life. Teachers, LSAs, learning mentors, behaviour and learning support staff, headteachers and their deputies, school counsellors and coaches, psychologists, pastoral staff and others are all drawing on the approach in a way that makes a difference.
The approach is being put to work not only with students, in relation to behaviour, learning and well-being, but also in interaction with parents, with colleagues and internally in school’s procedures and processes. Indeed the idea of the Solution Focused School is now current in several areas of the UK.

Since 1989 BRIEF has delivered over 5000 days of agency-based training to organisations throughout the Public, Corporate and Voluntary sectors. These trainings have varied from one-day workshops to 12-day courses.
BRIEF has spent time with teams celebrating achievements, planning successful futures, resolving deeply embedded difficulties and building collaborative relationships. BRIEF is available to work with any team or organisation. Situations in which teams are not performing to their potential, where relationship difficulties get in the way of maximising performance, where the environment is rapidly changing and constantly demands shifts and adjustments, where the task is unclear and the future uncertain can all benefit from solution focused coaching.
