Conflict Resolution

"We don't have to like each other; we do have to work together"

Poor working relationships are one of the biggest drains of corporate energy and resource. They are also the greatest source of individual stress and consequent sickness, as well as being associated with heightened staff turnover. This waste of resource and loss of productivity is entirely avoidable and a Solution Focused approach offers the simplest and most direct way to good working relationships.

BRIEF will work with individuals, groups, teams, indeed anyone who wants the future to be more productive than the past and who is prepared to contribute to the change.

The Solution Focused approach is uniquely well placed to work effectively in situations of conflict, focusing on the building of a more successful future rather than the exploration of the difficulties of the past.

Integrating SF . . . or not.

One of the most frequent questions that gets asked on training programmes is the question ‘can you integrate SF with other approach?’ And very often this question is asked from a stance which implies that the worker drawing on a range of approaches is clearly and obviously beneficial to the client. However in SF the answer to this question seems to be neither quite so clear nor quite so obvious.

Evan George shares his thoughts.
